REVISITED | Skin Food Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder
May 29, 2012These days, I've been trying to lessen my makeup routine time. Waking up an hour before work starts can be crazy but that is just okay because I live near from where I work. Yey!
So the usual routine is this after shower:
- Moisturize
- Put SPF
- Foundation
- Set powder <------------- now I wanna focus on this part!
I've been using the Skin Food Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder to set my foundation lately! And I've been loving it! I don't understand why I never thought of using this since I got this as part of my loot from my Seoul trip.
This product contains ultra-fine micro-silica powder, which immediately tightens the pores and controls excess sebum. This unique loose powder sets your make-up with a matt finish, leaving skin smooth and clean.
Me Says:
- Smells peach! Awesome! (think organic, lol)
- Super cutie packaging. This one is made of hard paper made into a box
- White powder (don't be scared) and yet it goes on colorless when applied so it shall match any skintone
- Can be used to set your foundation or use it without anything except moisturizer
- Makes my skin brighter and glowing (think luminous)
- Makes my skin very smooth
- Pretty respectable oil-control properties
Dislikes:
- Nothing! But for the budget conscious ladies, I heard this retails for Php 1,350.00 in sunny Manila. I am trying to remember how much I got these but pretty sure not over Php 500.
Notice the white powder, but turns colorless when applied |
Moi with Skin Food Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder on me (sorry for blurry photos; this one from my Iphone) |
Overall Verdict:
5 Lipsticks
Buy Again? Yes, Yes, Yes!
It is just so unfortunate that this is soooooo overpriced in Skin Food stores here in Manila. If you are rooting to buy this powder, be friendly with a Korean friend or someone who plans to visit Seoul, lol...
These days, I always find myself reaching out to this baby so hopefully I get to visit Seoul again before this one runs out!
Kudos to Korean cosmetics! Makes our lives pretty easier, noh?
Love,
Miss J
