REVISITED | MAC Pro Longwear Crème in Love Forever Review

Hola hola everyone? How's your weekend? Hoping all my readers are doing great!

I am doing a MAC series review starting today! If you remember my MAC splurge in my last post, then you must know what I am talking about.

I had been lemming, well the correct term should be “ogling” for MAC Pro Longwear Crème in Love Forever.

At first I wanted a red shade but then I had a number of red lippies there and everywhere so I wanted to show subtleness by getting a pinkish color for my lips. So the shade I instantly liked was this one. I read somewhere that MAC calls this product as their “bright blue pink” shade.

I got some makeup confession to make: I finally gave in to my MAC lemmings!

You see for many years, I stayed away from super expensive makeup purchases because first of all, they are not easy on the budget, plus I can find some products which also work for my skin. I had MAC some makeup pieces before but I stopped buying because it breaks my wallet, lol.

I have not been able to post any OOTD's lately (nor all about makeup, the girl is busy with her job).

But I must tell you that I am into maxi skirts these days. And no, I didn't switch religion if that's what you want to imply, lol. I am just simply feeling too girly these days. The long flowy material excites me these days all I feel is being a princess.

I bought this lovely black maxi skirt from SuiteBlanco for Php 1,200.00 at SM Aura a couple of weeks back to reward myself for being frugal at some point (okay maybe a little).

I decided to pair it with just a plain Vneck shirt for a casual look. I didn't pile on any accessories as I'd like keep the look as casual as possible.

REVISITED | Maybelline The Jewels by ColorSensational in Amethyst Ablaze Review

My lips are purple today, why not? I am in love with purple lips so when I saw this purple-ish lippie from Maybelline, I knew I had to try my buck’s luck.

I bought this a couple of months ago, and if I remember it right, that’s even before my dad got sick and then completely forgot about it. These days, I have my personal vow to only spend when I have at least three gold bars in my apartment (goodness, that would be awesome, haha). Sick, noh? I just realized it’s more effective to be frugal when you stop counting your few pesos as if they are gold.

Anyhow, I picked up this Maybelline The Jewels by ColorSensational in Amethyst Ablaze during one of my Maybelline field trips at the mall. The only thing which bothered me in the beginning were the glitters. Oh my God, they were like screaming Vegas to me. But don’t be fooled, because when you applied it, it wasn’t that bad afterall.
