I just had a sumptuous meal, starting my day right and then saw a comment from one social media user on another user that she is ugly. The
giver doesn't even know the receiver personally. We were always told
that one's character is more important than good looks, right? And
that's what I thought too.
I am always insecure with my underarms believe me. And because
I started wearing deodorant in my teens, (Rexona - I think was the very first
brand I used) I had to deal with unpleasant underarm problems later on in my life. I’m soon planning to get lasers to permanently get
rid of the hair but that’s another story.
I pluck my armpit hair and I know that’s not pretty. It can
give you that dreaded chicken skin. But I won’t forgive myself if I start
sweating just in case I forgot to put my deodorant. I’ve been buying deodorant
sprays than sticks simply because it is more hygienic and convenient to
use. I do however can develop resistance
on products so from time to time, I need to jump and get a new brand to
interchangeably use them. Then I’d see the same product working for me again.
If you are a fan of Dove products like I am, I am always
curious. So one day while doing my usual shopping at S&R, I picked up the Dove
Go Sleeveless Anti-Perspirant Deodorant for Php 299.00. Well I does not promise
much as far as what’s displayed on its packaging except that it encourages you
to wear sleeveless in 5 days. Okay, deal.
Besides blogging on makeup, I do miss posting shameless outfit posts from time to time. I don't claim to be a fashion blogger because I am not, but I do like dressing up once in a while. Fashion is one way of self expression so I consider this one of the avenues to show my personality even if they won't probably come across to you in the end.
So today's dare is this: Would you consider a "print on print" ensemble? You would probably say: "Hell, no!"

I have the perfect set of brows! Well, that’s just me
dreaming, lol. I’m always dreaming of perfect brows eversince I developed
liking on makeup. However, in my case, it took me years to finally find the
perfect shape for myself. The way to even tame and shape them was another
story.
So I would probably skip taking my blush with me but not my
eyebrow tools. That’s how sacred my brow relationship is. A well-groomed and
shaped eyebrows can really make a difference in your face. I tried tons to be
honest from pencils to powders. But since I do sweat heavily during summer and
maybe less during rainy days but powders or pencils even set with brow mascara
tend to disappear on my face after sometime.
And so I was originally eyeing on Makeup Forever (MUFE) Aqua Brow, but then rumor has it that there is a dupe out
there from a brand called NYX. I’ve had success with other NYX products long
before they opened their very first store here in the Philippines. Then one day while browsing at online makeup
store called Digital Traincase, I spotted that they
now have the NYX Eyebrow Gel. Also, Digital Traincase ships really fast like
they always do (I bought stuff from them few years ago).
