REVISITED | Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush

June 07, 2012

Next to “tints”, I love creamy blushes. A creamy blush is easier to apply in your cheek than a tint as tint has the tendency to dry up too soon so you need to act fast in spreading it if you don’t want to look as if someone just punched you in the face:)

Lately, I’ve been doing my own makeup inventory to track how many products are meant to be thrown (expired) or whether I should keep them. Then I saw one of those creamy blushes I own. I am talking about the Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush.

I have these in the following shades: Soft Murano (Pink tone)  and Soft Candy (Reddish tone). I honestly could not remember how much I paid for them for I am guessing not more than Php 600.00 each pot.

On regular days, I always use the tint because I am not a fan of powder blushes (silly me!). But I am telling you that a cream blush when applied properly can give you that beautiful glow and natural at that!

Max Factor is a reputable brand being one of the pioneers in the makeup industry. I always have high respect for this brand because I have so many good finds from their store.

Me Says:

  • Goes on smoothly in a moisturized face, easy to apply
  • Leaves me a dewy finish (think natural looking)
  • Very buildable
  • Gives me a nice flush
  • Convenient to carry in your bag because it is really small and such a a cutie

  • Goes away on me too soon (can’t blame the girl for having combination/ oily skin)
  • I find it pricey
  • Not hygienic because you need to dip your finger every time you want to apply this
Notice how small this pot is?

Overall Verdict:

3.5 Lipsticks

If you have dry to normal skin I think this will suit you. It’s a beautiful color and I use this when I don’t want to bother bringing with me a brush or if I really have a small bag with me.

TIP: I don’t know if it’s right, but I tried this on my lips as well and I liked the finish.. Talk about multi-purpose!

Buy Again: I’ll pass this time. I still have enough in my loot to last me for a long time.
