Wait! Is it a powder or liquid? It's a BB Stick!

Introducing Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Stick SPF21 which I picked up at Rustan's supermarket (beauty section). The curious monkey inside me was too excited to see how this works.

Product Description:

Clear Smooth BB Stick is a multi-benefit product that combines the benefits of skin care, make-up, and sun block in a stick. It contains salicylic acid that helps clear away pores and imperfections, and mineral clay that helps control shine all day. Dermatologically tested. Recommended for oily or combination skin. Suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin.

8-IN-1 BENEFITS:
  • Controls shine - Mineral clay formula helps keep skin shine-free all day
  • Lasts all day - Powder finish resists sweat and sebum for up to 12 hours
  • Clears - Reduces the appearance of dark spots, redness, fine lines, and wrinkles
  • Refines - Reduces the appearance of pores
  • Conceals - Instantly hides flaws and imperfections
  • Evens - Corrects uneven skin tone
  • Smoothens - Makes skin feel smooth, soft, and supple
  • Protects - SPF 21/PA+++ protects against harmful UVA and UVB rays

Me Says:
  • Has SPF 21
  • Very sleek packaging
  • Radiance shade matches my skin tone very nicely
  • I really like the "stick" idea
  • No weird scent
  • Affordable for it's price
  • Light to Medium coverage and can cover blemishes though not all
  • Great for combination to oily skin
Dislikes:
  • Only comes in two (2) shades
  • Lasting powder does not last up to 12 hours however I usually blot my face anyways in between
Overall Verdict:

4 Lipsticks

This product is worth a try, IMHO. If you are always on the go, this is a must have. You can set it with powder to improve staying power. If you have dry skin, this may be drying to your skin so you may experiment by moisturizing your face well then applying this after. You may opt NOT to set this with powder if you have dry skin.

Buy Again: Yes, why not? A girl can never have too many foundations/ powders anyways!

Love,
Miss J
