REVISITED | SNOE SPF 30 STEM CELL SUNBLOCK CREAM

January 15, 2012

Do you still remember any of your Biochemistry classes? You've probably come across the term "Stem Cell". I am no Biochemistry guru but thank God, there is google for everything!

Stem Cells according to Wikipedia, are biological cells found in all multicellular organisms, that can divide (through mitosis) and differentiate into diverse specialized cell types and can self-renew to produce more stem cells. In mammals, there are two broad types of stem cells: embryonic stem cells, which are isolated from theinner cell mass of blastocysts, and adult stem cells, which are found in various tissues. In adult organisms, stem cells and progenitor cells act as a repair system for the body, replenishing adult tissues. In a developing embryo, stem cells can differentiate into all the specialized cells (these are called pluripotent cells), but also maintain the normal turnover of regenerative organs, such as blood, skin, or intestinal tissues.

You bet, it sounds too genius noh? This is how the SNOE SPF 30 STEM CELL SUNBLOCK CREAM  is all about.

I knew about Snoe (pronounced as Snowy) products when I was at Cinderella and was curious to ask the girl assistant what these products are. I am very surprised to know that they are locally made products and made of high quality ingredients. I've always been a fan or organic thingy and you do know that these organic thingamjigs don't come cheap.

So to satisfy my curiosity, I grabbed this small container and paid it along with a small lip and cheek tint neatly packed in a small container too which I plan to revisit in my upcoming posts.

SNOE SPF 30 STEM CELL SUNBLOCK CREAM
Php 169.00
Where to Buy: Cinderella (G4)

Me Says:
  • I like the fact that this product comes with sun protection of at least 30. The sun can be damaging and even so when you are infront of your computer.
  • It gives you a matte yet soft finish and in my opinion, can double as a primer (no joke). It did really mattify my face after my toner!
  • I can skip primer (I am really serious with this!)
  • My face was less oily even without a primer (good job)
 Dislikes:

  • I hope the container contained the ingredients so the public may be informed.
  • Those with dry skin might find this over drying their skin but I think you can apply some moisturizer first before applying this.
  • The packaging is generally okay but can be improved in my opinion.

 My Verdict:

4.5 Lipsticks  (√)

This is a good product if you want to be protected from the harmful sun and at the same time help you renew cells. I am going to revisit other Snoe products next time but for the meantime, you might consider grabbing one of this.

Till next time, beautiful people. Ciao!

Love,
Miss J
