REVISITED | SHAWARMA SNACK FOOD CENTER

January 09, 2012

I must admit that it was only last few years that I started liking middle eastern food. The reason? Because nobody bothered to introduce me to it until my favorite *cat did!

You see, since I started living independently (which was right after college), I hardly cook; errr- the correct description is that I DON'T cook. When I was back then living with my parents, I do some kitchen exercises (haha) but when you are alone, I bet most of us like to eat outside (either to save ourselves from washing the dishes or we are simply too tired or lazy, whatever it is!).

So I like to tag my fave cat to this place in Malate. This is very popular place among tourists so expect to see a number of foreigners. They are open 24 hours so this is a perfect place to munch on something after a night out somewhere in Malate.

I was told that the owner (from the middle east) has been living in the Philippines for a long time and is married to a Filipina.

A reasonable meal would cost you Php 180.00+ (for a kebab) but we like to order their value meal for Php 85.00 because not only that it tastes good, it is offered in such a very reasonable price. I heard the owner thought about offering this value meal to help foreign students save some moolah. Nice!

Kebab Combo (Beef, Chicken, etc) for Php 180.00+
Value Meal for Php 85.00
Value Meal for Php 85.00
The famous Shawarma Php 85.00 +

Writing this just makes me hungry again, lol. If ever you are in the area, make sure to dropby. I'd say it's really worth it.

Come on, you can even ask the people working there if they are "terrorists"; because really this place is the "bomb".

Till my next post. Ciao!

Love,
Miss J
