REVISITED | PALLADIO OIL FREE HERBAL FOUNDATION

January 19, 2012

Happy Thursday gorgeous! It's almost weekend so another reason to be happy! ☺☺☺

I am really tired from work today, I almost died while in the cab on my way home, lol.. But then just before I take my beauty rest, I decided to post about my experience on this foundie:

PALLADIO OIL FREE HERBAL FOUNDATION
Php 550+
Beauty Bar

According to Palladio's website (here):

This unique, oil-free formula contains light-reflecting pigments which diffuse and bend to create a natural, matte appearance. Vitamins A and E, as well as Ginseng and Gingko extracts, aid in reducing the look of fine lines, large pores and other imperfections. Enrichments like Cucumber, Aloe Vera and Chamomile extracts sooth and moisturize the skin while evening its complexion. Designed with convenience in mind, this all day, sheer-to-medium coverage comes in an easy-to-squeeze tube that ensures no product (or money) goes to waste. (Suitable for all skin types.)

So I got this in Nude shade and let me tell you what I think about this product.

Me Says:
  • Oil free
  • No weird smell for me
  • Great packaging as I can definitely control how much product to use
  • Very handy

 Dislikes:
  • Oil control isn't effective as I hope it would be (being an oil-free foundie)
  • Nude shade is off for me, I guess I should have gotten the Golden Beige shade
  • I didn't like the coverage; to be honest I felt like I had a mask:(
  • No SPF

 My Verdict:

3. 0 Lipsticks  (-)

It was a so-so experience. I had high hopes for this product being oil free and herbal but then twas a huge letdown. I am eyeing on their primer so hopefully I'd give my thoughts on that as soon as I have my hands on it.

In the meantime, I am not going to repurchase. I'm still in love with my Max Factor Lasting Performance foundie which I revisited here.

Take care all and keep smiling everyday:)

Love,
Miss J
