Why I Now Only Carry Lipsticks in my Everyday Makeup Kit

(Top to Bottom: Revlon Colorstay in Wardrobe, Victoria Secret lipgloss, Loreal Collection Star in Pure Garnet, MAC Pro Longwear Lip Creme in Unlimited, Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in Addiction Dependence, Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in #15 from Japan and Loreal lipstick in Spring Rosette)

To put it, I just wanted to simplify my everyday makeup life. And so my story goes by me applying my foundation or tinted moisturizer/ sunblock first, set with a powder, do my eyebrows, apply some blush and on with my usual fave lippies mostly from Revlon. I really think Revlon has great lipsticks selection and they work pretty well on me.

Some moons ago, I would carry tons of makeup as if I am going to make 200 faces everyday when I go to work. These days however, I would only carry lipsticks. I can change the color of my lips from light to dark. And if I needed some blush in the middle of the day, I would apply some lipstick on my cheeks or if I am not feeling lazy, toss one blush in my stash before I leave for work.

The rewards are actually pretty - lighter carry on bag and I got some space for more important things like an extra wet wipes (hello titas of Manila, lol).

I don't regret it, in fact I am proud of myself for being able to simplify another aspect of my life. My makeup kit is no longer as complicated as it was some years ago.

What have you been proud of yourself recently?

Love,
