REVISITED | Andalou Naturals Clementine + C Illuminating Toner Review

July 15, 2016

I added toner as part of my skin care regimen quite late. For many years, I would only do the wash-moisturize regimen. Nothing too fancy but since I can't stick to the 10-step Korean skin care regimen, I figured the wash-tone-moisturize would be a slightly better option.

My skin's not perfect to begin with and I would have dark spots from pimples every time after each menstrual period. It would take some time to lighten them unless I go through a serious exfoliation and so I would look for skin care with brightening properties not necessarily to whiten my skin.

The Andalou Naturals Clementine + C Illuminating Toner description says this: Fruit Stem Cell Complex, superfruit antioxidants, and Vitamin C, work as powerful cell energizers to target hyperpigmentation and UV damage, improving skin tone and texture. Aloe vera effectively hydrates and oxygenates, balancing pH, and stimulating circulation for healthy luminosity.

I like the fact that it is a spray toner for normal and combination skin and there is no need for me to use a separate cotton like my other toners. It is spill-proof, never leaks and comes in a huge bottle. It cools my skin and preps it for moisturization. It smells very citrusy much like tangerines or oranges or lemons maybe? I really don't know except it is something you'd get excited to spray on your face after each shower.

As for brightening effect, it's not something grand however, I did notice that my skin especially my cheeks are clearer, slightly luminous muted pink. I would also use a brightening sleeping pack with tomato as main ingredient so not sure if that's the culprit. Anyhow, I really love this toner to bits. You can even use this toner to set your makeup too.

Overall Verdict:
4.5 Lipsticks

Buy Again: Yes, I would repurchase, it's a nice break from my usual toners.

You can get this toner from Healthy Options.

Love,
