Summertime's here- don't you think? Sunny Manila becomes even "sunnier". This means we need to change our makeup routine a little bit, well at least while summer's here.
Anyways, today, I am going to share my thoughts on one NYX product which I absolutely love! I knew about this brand about 2 years ago I think from Makeup Alley. NYX is a well-loved brand all over the world because they always come up with reasonably priced products with excellent quality. This brand has given other high end brands a run for their money and meant that all bright and beautiful things need not be expensive.

I got mine from online reseller, Digital Traincase booth both from last year's Rockwell event and recently I purchased from them again when I chanced at their booth at the recent Cosmetologie 2012 event.
So, here are the specs from NYX's US website:
Neither lipstick nor lip gloss—this is matte lip cream. A new kind of pout paint that goes on silky smooth and sets to a matte finish. Soft Matte Lip Cream is surprisingly durable and, unlike some matte lipstick formulas, also moisturizing. Available in 11 lip colors.

Me Says:
- Matte lipstick in a tube- what more can I ask for?
- Very pigmented
- Long Lasting
- Not drying but make sure to exfoliate your lips for a cleaner, more matte effect
- Comes in different shades; stunning colors
Dislikes:
- Only available though resellers online, bazaars, etc.
Verdict:

I wish NYX ships to the Philippines so we can get hold of their products in few clicks with the computer mouse but then come to think of it, if they do, I would probably buy the entire line of this brand all though out! So for now, I am going to behave and not ask someone to score these babies from the US and ask her to ship them to me... Oh no!

I bought 2 nyx lipsticks from digitaltraincase because I saw that you bought them from her site. Unfortunately, I think 1 of the lipsticks was opened, (maybe used) because the cover and wand had lipstick all over them. Sad.
ReplyDeleteHi lostwolf- you can leave a comment at their multiply site or post a commen at their fb page. It's important thet they be aware of what happened because they got pretty good feedback as a seller so i hope they'd be nice to replace it for one dissatisfied customer:)
