Hair Dilemma | Balayage vs Ombre

Balayage what?!?!?

To be honest I also didn't know this term until I started researching online what are the latest trends on hair earlier this year. To be fair, I know ombre hair after seeing that trend quite a lot since last year.

I've been coloring my hair for sometime now and changed my hair color gradually from dark to lighter colors these past few years. So yes, there is that blonde dreams deep inside me, hahaha.

Anyhow, I've been asked by people what's the difference between balayage and ombre. Well I know ombre's ends are of lighter color and the roots are darker. Apart from that, shoot me for being too ignorant, lol.

On the otherhand, here's what I found about Balayage from Beauty High :
