REVISITED | Olay Total Effects Pore Minimizing CC Cream with Sunscreen Review

November 18, 2015

If you can leave your place without any makeup on, it means two things: You are awesome and you know it!
But for “mortals” like everyone of us, this is quite a feat. Now, imagine what if a great looking skin is possible with very minimal coverage. Well, the answer can be found in Olay Total Effects Pore Minimizing CC Cream with Sunscreen.

This CC (color control) cream has minimal to medium coverage. Well,  to be honest, it doesn’t appear to be medium coverage for me because it is like what it is-  a light coverage base.  The SPF 15 is an add-on you can’t refuse.  It is good news indeed that they included some sun protection in this bottle. Also, I saw my skin tone was evened.

I applied this with a primer underneath and realized I still need some good old concealer. No, it’s not a disappointment. It does not promise a full coverage power so don’t bet on it after all. Also, I like using this with my flat brush. I still pack on my MAC StudioFix Powder Foundation on my T-Zone using very light strokes. I hardly add powder on the upper cheeks as I want it to look glowy still.

You might get distracted with its strong scent however, this does not bother me at all. I have no allergic reactions to its perfume but I realize others may find it too distracting. The final output looks very  natural, almost like your skin. The product doesn’t stay too long on me, unfortunately. After 4-6 hours, my nose was shiny like Rudolph’s lol.

Overall, I like to use this cream on days I'd like to go looking like a low-maintenance-kind-of -girl. It doesn’t look over the top but makes you look decent.

Overall Verdict:
4.00 Lipsticks

These days, I am really trying to wear very little makeup as possible so this product is a good alternative on days you'd like to slow down and perhaps smell the flowers instead of pondering on how many layers of foundation you'd like to put on your lovely face.

Love,
