REVISITED | Nature Republic Botanical Shine Tint in #2 Review

September 27, 2013

I’m addicted to lip and cheek tints and most Korean makeup! I have quite a few lip and cheek tints from Tony Moly, Mememe, Etude House and Burt's Bees .

But I have a usually slight problem with them. Most are drying on my lips. While in Seoul, I picked up this nail-polish looking lip (and cheek) tint called Nature Republic Botanical Shine Tint in #2. This shade is pink and shiny as the name implies. I bet there are glitters inside in super tiny particles.

The price was for about 2,700 Korean won I think. As I rummaged through my receipts, unfortunately they were all written in Korean so no luck but if my memory serves me right, that should be the real price. The consistency is of a tint mixed with a lip gloss though not that usually sticky. In fact, I enjoyed wearing this roaming the streets of Seoul. The only problem I had was it didn’t stay that long on me. After 3 hours, it was gone. But I “eat” lipstick most of the time which translates I wet my lips more often than not.

Me Says:

-          Natural looking on my lips

-          Not drying

-          Not sticky

-          No weird taste or smell

-          Very affordable

-          Kissproof

Dislikes:

-          I wish it stayed on my lips  longer than usual

-          Not sure if this one is available at local Nature Republic stores here in Manila

Overall Verdict:

4.00 Lipsticks

Nami Island | Using  Nature Republic Botanical Shine in #2

I tried using this as a blush and it works just as good as a lip tint. If you don’t want to pack a lot of things on a trip, this is a good buy. I am not sure how many shades they have but I think I saw only two-- the other being a orange-y shade.

Buy Again? Why not.

Do you fancy lip tints? Let me know.

Love,
