REVISITED | Biore UV Bright Face Milk SPF 50+ PA+++ Review

January 23, 2013

Oh I had been diligent in putting on sunscreen (good job, Ms. J) because like many of you, I am afraid of the sun's prolonged exposure aftermath. Much more, if you are working in front of your computer, its bright lights might harm your skin just the same.

My current favorite is the Biore UV Bright Face Milk SPF 50+ PA+++ which I picked up at Cosmed during my Taiwan trip.

In Taiwan, there was no translation in the packaging, unfortunately. But I picked up the same product from Biore (white bottle) in Singapura back in 2010 during one of my trips and saw translation at the back of its packaging. I remembered liking it but for some reason I stopped using it.

Biore by the way, is a Japanese brand. What I really like about this product is that it feels lightweight (not sticky at all!). I also think it brightens my face (for some reason, some friends told me, my face is getting brighter, or whiter maybe, lol) and its high SPF makes it perfect to combat sun aging. The consistency is runny so be careful when taking some product out of its bottle. The secret is to get a small amount (half of a peso coin) and put small dots in your T-zone.

Me Says:

Lightweight.
You'll be surprised how this product can feel so light upon application

Can act as Primer.
You can skip your primer as this product can double as one.

SPF50.
Just perfect for any outdoor activity, don't you think?

Brightening Properties.
This product comes in a light pinkish color which brightens my face for some reason. I think the pink undertones make my skin look healthier.

Matte.
I think this has silica which explains why it keeps my face matte upon application. Well I am not allergic to silicone, but if you are, beware as this may cause serious allergies.

No Skin Irritation.
No pimples so far. I'm sooo happy!

Inexpensive (if bought abroad).
I paid around Php 350 for this bottle. It's not that bad, I think.

Dislikes:

Not Available Locally.
Visit Multiply to score one. Otherwise, don't forget to score one in your next trip abroad. I heard this one retails for about Php 500 here in Manila (from online retailers). That I think is pricey.

Overall Verdict:

5 Lipsticks

It blends well in my skin-- just look at the photos below:

I didn't experience any clogged pores or any irritation so far. I also think this would work for summer which is almost here before we knew it.

I think I am going to search this product from Multiply when it runs out.

Buy Again: Yes, yes, yes!

In the meantime, have you tried this product yet? Tell me about it.

Love,
Miss J
