REVISITED | Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

November 27, 2012

In most cases, I always keep an open mind and this includes skin care.

So like most women out there, I kind of try new products every now and then. And in many cases, I am left with a "broken heart".

I'd say "heartbroken" because I'd realize it was a wrong move to spend my hard earned moolah into something which should goes straight to the trash.

Like a girl who has been to many company of beauty products, I always find myself going back to this first love--- the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.

Product Description according to their site says this:

Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser is great for daily makeup removal. Originally formulated for dermatologists, this cleanser is gentle on your skin and sensitive to your skin’s needs. Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser will not strip the skin of natural protective oils or emollients, or disturb the skin’s natural pH balance. This dermatologist-recommended cleanser is fragrance-free and non-comedogenic. Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser is gentle enough for children, teens and adults.

Me Says:

G-E-N-T-L-E.
I said it many times that I can be very sensitive when a lot of things are going on in my skin. This product has never given me any P-R-O-B-L-E-M-S!

No weird smell/ scent.
This is very basic, so old-schooled cleanser without getting busy in the scent department.

Moisturizing.
While I like the squeaky-clean after cleanse feel, it is not a good idea to leave our skin with its needed moisture. And for this, I give this cleanser two thumbs-up!

To use water or not!
And yes that is the question! I used this with or without water and worked as effective as it should be. To use with water, then rinse the normal way but when used without water, make sure you keep n extra tissue to wipe off the product after massaging it for sometime.

Baby or not---here it comes!
I heard some mommies who told me they use this product to their babies. See how gentle this is indeed!

Non-comedogenic.
It has never clogged my pores. Ever.

Reasonably priced.
I initially thought of putting this under my dislikes list but I realized, not all good products come cheap.

Dislikes:

N-O-T-H-I-N-G!

Overall Verdict:

5 Lipsticks

I guess, we all have that time in our own lives that we may go astray (literally and figuratively) but will find that product that will always have a safe place in our hearts such as what Cetaphil has did to me, hihihi!

One thing is for sure, I may always find the temptation and reasons to try new products out there but I am sure I'd have more reasons to always find my way back to Cetaphil.

Buy Again: Yes, yes, yes. This is definitely my HG cleanser!

Love,
Miss J

  2. I so agree with you. I love the fact that there is no tight-feeling on the skin after washing Cetaphil, a proof that this one don't strip natural oils on our face. Recommended too by my acne dermatologist in NYC.
