REVISITED | Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel Review

My recent Mario Badescu obsession is the Enzyme Cleansing
Gel! I ordered this from Luxola, a Singapore-based makeup and skin care shop
however, you can get them in Manila too, (Rustan’s, are you there?). I am not
quite sure though how much it sells for here in sunny Manila.
Believed to be Mario Badescu’s best selling daily cleanser,
this product smells terrific too! This non-foaming, gel cleanser thoroughly
removes the day’s makeup, dirt, and oil without overdrying the skin. Papaya and
Grapefruit Extracts contain exfoliating Alpha Hydroxy Acids that help prevent
dulling buildup that can cause blackheads and breakouts.
Alpha Hydroxy Acids are my bestfriends these days. They work
on my skin pretty well. I used to have quite rough build up on my face but
these days, using my Mario Badescu Glycolic toner, it works like a charm! I
noticed my skin feeling softer and lesser to almost zero breakout! I have also
learned how to love facial oils but that’s going to be another story worth
sharing in my blog next time.
Alright, don’t be surprised if this cleanser is without
foam! Don’t judge this bottle just yet. In my opinion, it doesn’t over dry my
face but it cleanses my face excellently. My face feels smoother
after each washing. Usually, I sing Elli Goulding's “Love Me Like You Do” song until I hit one
chorus then rinse my face. Haha.

How to Use:Twice
daily, massage in a circular motion on wet skin avoiding eye area. Rinse with
tepid water. Pat dry and follow with toner or astringent.
Okay, if you own the famous Clarisonic products, they say
this cleanser and Clarisonic are the bombs! However, I have yet to own a Clarisonic so I cannot
attest to that yet!

This bottle has 236 ml amount of product and for its price,
it’s worth your buck. I think I am going to stay with this cleanser for a
while. I really, really love it.
