REVISITED | Pond’s Age Miracle BB Cream SPF 30 PA++ Review

June 25, 2014

I thought my BB cream future episodes have ended. And so that’s what I thought. But my usual Instagram stalking has thought me a good lesson: Too much information can entice you to death.

That’s what happened when I saw Jigs Mayuga’s recommendation on the Pond’s Age Miracle BB Cream SPF 30 PA++.  And I also learned that actress Heart Evangelista endorses this product too. For Php 499.00, all I had to do was buy. This is available in your local Watson’s counter.

This product boasts of sun protection of 30, reduces wrinkles, fine lines and age spots. This caters for more matured skin, preferably in your late twenties or thirties. The coverage is grayish at first which is usual for most BB creams I’ve tried.

However when blended, it blends beautifully, like second skin. I think they only come in two (2) shades and I picked up the shade in Light as I tend to oxidize on most foundations I’ve tried. What I also like about it,  is its matte finish and if you are have dry to normal skin, you can get away with setting it with powder.
For combination to oily skin like mine, it does not add oil into my face which I really love. The coverage is light to medium. The redness in my face is reduced but don’t expect that all your imperfections will be covered. You would need a separate concealer for that. But on usual days, this can be worn as it is. If you have perfect skin this will look like a dream.

Overall, I really like this product my only complain is the price as it only comes in 25g. Other than that, I’d be very happy to repurchase.

Overall Verdict:

4.5 Lipsticks

Buy Again: This is my fave BB cream to date, so yes, I intend to repurchase this.

Have you given up on BB creams like I did in the past? This could make you a believer again.

Love,
